Lead Nursery room teacher 4 days per week, starting Term 2.  Lead Kindergarten teacher 5 days per week starting Term 3.

    Candlenut Steiner School is seeking a warm and dedicated teacher for one of our Kinder/Prep groups for 2012.  The successful applicant must have a four year qualification and be eligible to hold Queensland Teacher Registration.  Steiner qualifications or experience in a Steiner early childhood programme are preferred, or the willingness to undertake the necessary Steiner Teacher training.   We are seeking someone who has creative flair, a love of singing, a strong will to create and hold rhythm, experience with storytelling and craft, and a great love for young children.

    Commencing at the beginning of February 2012 our kindergarten wishes to employ a Steiner trained kindergarten teacher who also holds a NZ Diploma of Teaching in Early Childhood or equivalent. Depending on experience a successful applicant would either co teach or lead a group of children with a trained teacher.  We are looking for a teacher who is willing to be part of the culture teachers and families have created at our initiative over the past twelve years.
